Bangladesh announces squad for T20I series against West Indies
Bangladesh has announced its 15-member T20I squad for the upcoming three-match series against the West Indies, scheduled to begin on December 16 in St. Vincent. The squad sees the inclusion of 22-year-old fast bowler Nahid Rana, who is set to make his debut in this format after impressive performances in Tests and ODIs.
Rana’s selection comes on the back of his strong performances for Bangladesh in the longer formats. The pacer has taken 20 wickets in six Tests, including playing a vital role in Bangladesh’s historic 2-0 Test series sweep against Pakistan. In ODIs, he has claimed four wickets from three matches. This inclusion marks an exciting opportunity for the young pacer to showcase his skills in the shortest format.
