Barrister Saif demands justice for November 26 firing, blames government for violence

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Dr. Saif has demanded accountability from the federal government regarding the firing incident on November 26, which resulted in the loss of innocent lives. He labeled the current administration as an “illegitimate government” and called for answers about the tragedy.
Speaking in a statement, Barrister Saif announced that prayer ceremonies to honor the martyrs of the D-Chowk incident would be held on Sunday, with the central gathering scheduled at Bagh-e-Naran in Hayatabad, Peshawar. He vowed that the sacrifices of the unarmed workers who lost their lives would not go in vain and pledged to ensure justice for the victims.

Barrister Saif launched a scathing critique of the Sharif family, accusing them of perpetuating violence to secure political power. He drew comparisons to the Model Town tragedy, alleging that similar acts of brutality were used as a means to maintain political dominance. “Even pregnant women were targeted in Model Town,” he claimed, adding that this pattern of violence must end.
He emphasized that the blood of the martyrs would not only bring justice but also play a significant role in restoring constitutional law in Pakistan.
