Chinese firm to establish ‘Robotic Agricultural Tools Plant’ in Punjab
A major step towards agricultural modernization is underway in Punjab as a Chinese company, AI Force Tech, has agreed to set up a manufacturing plant for robotic agricultural machinery in the province. The development follows a landmark agreement signed between AI Force Tech and the Punjab government during Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s visit to China.
During her visit, Chief Minister Maryam met with Dr. Han, the founder and CEO of AI Force Tech, and discussed her administration’s plans to implement agricultural reforms in Punjab. She assured the company of full cooperation in establishing the plant, which is expected to revolutionize the province’s agricultural sector with cutting-edge technology.

Earlier, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inspected advanced agricultural tools and expressed her determination to bring such innovations to Punjab to enhance productivity and efficiency. A delegation from AI Force Tech is expected to visit Punjab soon at her invitation to finalize plans for the plant.
The agreement was part of Maryam Nawaz’s broader efforts to strengthen Punjab’s economic ties with China. On Sunday, she met a high-level delegation from the Communist Party of China in Beijing, where she emphasized her commitment to making Punjab economically robust through collaboration with China.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, who is the first Pakistani woman chief minister to visit China, was warmly welcomed at Beijing Airport by six senior representatives of the Communist Party of China. Her delegation includes Senator Pervez Rashid, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, and other key provincial ministers.
The visit, which includes stops in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong, focuses on exploring partnerships in information technology, healthcare, and industry. Maryam Nawaz is also scheduled to meet prominent Chinese leaders and government officials to discuss potential collaborations in various sectors.
