Federal ministers’ salaries and perks revealed

The Senate recently received a comprehensive briefing on the salaries, allowances, and perks of federal ministers and lawmakers, delivered by Federal Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar.
Minister Tarar revealed that federal ministers earn a monthly salary of nearly Rs200,000, though 95% of them choose not to draw their full pay. They are provided with a 1500cc car and an allocation of 400 litres of petrol, but they are required to pay for their own electricity and gas bills. The minister emphasized that no additional official perks are given.
