Global Super League 2024 Points Table will follow the standard ICC T20 system, where each team is awarded 2 points for a win during the group stages. In case of a tie or no result during the group stage, both teams will receive 1 point each. The table will display each team’s matches played (M), wins (W), losses (L), ties (T), no results (NR), points (P), and net run rate (NRR) after every match.
Points System:
- Win: 2 points
- No Result or Tied: 1 point
- Loss: 0 points
In case teams are tied on points, the Net Run Rate (NRR) will be used to determine their rankings on the points table.
Tournament Format:
- Round-Robin Format:
Each team competes against all other participating teams once during the group stage, completing a total of 5 matches per team. This format provides every team with an equal opportunity to showcase their skills and secure a spot in the playoffs. - Qualification for Playoffs:
The top four teams on the points table at the end of the group stage will advance to the playoffs, determined by their performance and net run rate. - Playoff Structure:
- The playoffs feature two semi-finals, where the top four teams compete for a place in the final.
- The winners of the semi-finals will face off in the highly anticipated final, battling for the inaugural GSL title.
