Mashal Yousafzai removed from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s advisory position

Mashal Yousafzai has been removed from her role as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The dismissal, confirmed through an official notification issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, has sparked discussions following a controversial interview.

Yousafzai, who also serves as the spokesperson for Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, revealed in an interview that her dismissal stemmed from remarks made during the TV appearance. “I have been de-notified based on a private TV interview,” she stated.

In the interview, Yousafzai shared details about a dramatic episode involving Bushra Bibi during the D-Chowk protests. According to her, Imran Khan had instructed Bushra Bibi to proceed to D-Chowk, a directive that she claimed Bushra Bibi felt she could not refuse.

Yousafzai alleged that during the episode, their vehicle came under gunfire, chemicals were thrown at the car, and the windows became fogged, forcing them to switch vehicles. This vehicle change reportedly led to her being separated from Bushra Bibi.
