Naran and Babusar Top Closed for Tourists Amid Heavy Snowfall

Authorities have temporarily closed the popular tourist destinations of Naran and Babusar Top in Kaghan Valley due to heavy snowfall and unsafe road conditions. A snowstorm has rendered roads slippery and treacherous, prompting the Mansehra Deputy Commissioner to issue an advisory urging tourists to avoid traveling to these high-altitude areas.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the risks posed by the snowstorm, stating, “We advise all visitors to stay away from Naran, Babusar Top, and surrounding areas for their safety. The roads have become extremely hazardous for vehicles.” Travelers attempting to proceed beyond Batakundi have been turned back for their safety, and Babusar Top has been completely closed.
