OPF expands network to 24 educational institutes, with over 17,000 students across Pakistan

The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has developed a robust educational system comprising 24 institutions across Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, offering quality education from pre-nursery to graduation levels. Over 17,000 students are currently enrolled in these institutions, including more than 2,500 children of overseas Pakistanis.
Two prominent institutions, OPF Girls College in Sector F-8/2 and OPF Boys College in Sector H-8/4, Islamabad, are at the forefront. The Girls College, established in 1985 on 100 kanals, serves around 4,800 students, with 702 children of overseas Pakistanis. The college provides education from pre-nursery to graduation levels, including O & A Level streams. It boasts a hostel facility accommodating over 100 students and offers transport services. A dedicated team of 450 staff members contributes to its reputation as a prestigious institution with consistent academic and financial performance.

OPF Boys College, inaugurated in 2001 on 56 kanals, educates over 1,400 students, including 256 children of overseas Pakistanis, from middle to intermediate levels. The college is building a hostel to facilitate students from distant areas, especially children of overseas Pakistanis, and also provides transport services.
In addition to these flagship colleges, OPF operates 22 other educational institutions nationwide, including in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. These schools offer education from pre-nursery to secondary and higher secondary levels, serving 10,879 students, of whom 1,550 are children of overseas Pakistanis. The schools are affiliated with local boards of intermediate and secondary education, while those in Azad Jammu & Kashmir are linked to the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad.
The OPF, functioning under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD), provides numerous incentives for the children of overseas Pakistanis, including 100% admission assurance and a 50% concession in tuition fees. Scholarships, stipends, and grants are also available for studies in fields like science, technology, arts, and management both in Pakistan and abroad.
