Pakistan signs agreement with Saudi Airlines for Hajj 2025 travel

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Pakistan has signed an agreement with Saudi Airlines to streamline travel arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims undertaking Hajj this year. The agreement, finalized on Thursday, is part of ongoing efforts to ensure smooth and efficient services for pilgrims.

Under the agreement, Saudi Airlines will provide travel services for 35,000 Pakistani pilgrims participating in the government-sponsored Hajj scheme. The signing ceremony was attended by Sultan Al-Harbi, Country Manager of Saudi Airlines in Pakistan, and Dr. Syed Ata-ur-Rehman, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony.

Speaking at the event, Sultan Al-Harbi highlighted Saudi Airlines’ dedication to delivering exceptional services to Pakistani pilgrims, ensuring their journey is as comfortable and hassle-free as possible. Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the ministry’s commitment to providing seamless facilities for pilgrims during this sacred undertaking.

This agreement complements a similar arrangement previously signed between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). Under that agreement, PIA also committed to facilitating travel for 35,000 government-sponsored pilgrims as part of Pakistan’s Hajj operations for the year.
