Pakistan Stock Exchange surpasses ‘$50 Billion’ mark, hits historic 110,000 Points for first time

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) reached a historic milestone on Monday, with its total market capitalization exceeding $50 billion for the first time. The benchmark KSE-100 Index also broke records, closing at an all-time high of 109,970 points after gaining 916 points in a single day.
The trading session saw remarkable activity, with 1.6 billion shares traded, amounting to transactions worth Rs60 billion. Despite experiencing a sharp decline of 1,400 points during the session, the market rebounded with a recovery of 1,300 points, reflecting robust investor confidence.
