Punjab announces ‘Date Sheet’ for matric and 9th class exams 2025
The Punjab Board Committee of Chairmen has released the tentative date sheet for the 2025 annual examinations for matric and ninth class students across the province.
The matriculation exams will start on March 4, 2025, with the first paper scheduled for Arabic and History. The exams will conclude on March 25, 2025, with the final paper in Punjabi.

The ninth class exams will begin a day after matric exams conclude, starting on March 25, 2025, with the English paper. These exams will end on April 18, 2025, also with the Punjabi paper.
Practical examinations for both classes are set to commence on April 23, 2025, following the conclusion of the written exams. In addition, the province will observe Eid-ul-Fitr holidays from March 29, 2025, to April 4, 2025, ensuring a break during the exam period.
